Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing plumbing systems for residential and commercial properties, ensuring reliable, safe, and code-compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas.

· Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

· Size piping and equipment, ensuring compliance with the California Plumbing Code.

· Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver integrated project solutions.

· Conduct site visits to verify installations and address design-related issues.

· Support construction administration, permitting, and review processes.

· Incorporate sustainable water-use strategies into designs.


Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Plumbing Engineering (Master's preferred).

· Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of plumbing design experience for residential or commercial building projects.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.

· Licenses/Certifications: EIT preferred; PE license a plus.

· Strong knowledge of California Plumbing Code and related standards.

· Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills.
